Easter Sunday
Henry's first Easter egg, not to sure about this.
But lets give it a go. It was great, ' wonder why it took them so long to give me one'
More chocolate that I have seen for a long time. Somehow the kids managed not to over indulge. Anne-Marie and Kate had organized a great hunt for them.
The invitation to Henry's naming ceremony.
Have a read of it, you may need to read it out load to understand it. His writing isn't very good yet.
The Naming Ceremony

Guest started arriving around noon.
Drinks and nibbles were handed out.
Anne-Marie had been busy in the kitchen, as usual.

The Star of the day.
The 'Star' and his beautiful mother.
With the guest seated on the hill the proceedings start.
Dianne Strong who Married Anne-Marie and Martin is in charge.
She is also a good friend and neighbour. Her husband Dan looks after Martin's 'tool shed'.

See how brown the fields are, they haven't had any real rain since December. They would love some of the rain we get in Auckland.
Martin has some words to say.
Anne-Maries turn:
May all your wishes come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung
And may you stay forever young
May you grow to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the light that's surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
And may you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
And may your feet always be swift

May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of change shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
And may you stay forever young

The 2 grandmothers on the left.
A Totara was planted for Henry.
It now stands the same height as Henry, but will grow into a very tall tree.
Once the official part was over, we could continue eating and drinking.
